Good Results Dyno Tune with Vararam Version ???

Dan brought me his car with his 3rd Vararam revision Only God know what version it is, for a Full Dyno Tune, the results were Pretty good for an L99 with LT headers and exhaust.

375 RWHP 386 RWTQ Nice cool day 57 degrees but raining.

Ted.

Thanks Ted.

My adventure began back in March with the installation of Headers, Vararam and a tune at a different shop. After multiple trips and trying different vararam's and tunes the bucking and surging did not stop. In July I received my current unit that did not buck or surge.

I felt the car ran good except for little annoyances here and there. I brought it to Ted for peace of mind. Ted did a baseline pull that netted 365hp and 370tq. He then proceeded to go over every detail of the existing ECM and TCM tune (It has to suck looking over someone else's work). He asked me a couple questions regarding shift points and other stuff and then he tuned, tuned and tuned some more.

After tuning he did a couple more pulls and was happy with the results as was I. 10hp and 16tq over baseline is amazing considering this car was already tuned. I left with an ear to ear smile and will go back to Ted for any additional mods my car receives.

I'm sold Ted your the best

Dan

Ted, how does this compare to most L99 cars that you see on your dyno with the same mods(other than the Vararam)? Do you think Vararam CAI is worth it?

The best data that nyny69 can give us is if he goes to the track now and post the results. Even if he doesnt turn great ET we can look at the trap speeds.

If I remember correctly my car made 369/386 or something very close with Kooks LT's , C.A.I., and Ted's tune.
