JRE L99 STREET KILLER PACKAGE RESULTS

I am sure you guys Read this is SuperchargedSS Previously 10.55 et 125 mph JRE STREET BRAWLER PACKAGE.

With the Recent Lifter Failure it prompted Jamie to Step it up to the JRE STREET KILLER PACKAGE, With an LS3 Valvetrain conversion and one of my custom spec blower cams, this cam can just about be heard at Idle, has excellent street manners and makes Big Power.

We also did an 8 Rib conversion with Innovators West 10% overdrive and a 3.2 up top to produce 12.5 psi and carry 10 psi to 7000.

The injectors are Maxed out so we will stop here for now and revisit in a few weeks.

Results 623 RWHP 582 RWTQ with the widest Torque curve I have ever seen.

Ted.

I expect it is from the Cam I am running, we have an 8 Rib on it.

I think it looks a lot worse than it is, due to scaling, it starts at 12.5 and only drops to 10

Wow!! Great numbers, I cant wait til you get it to the track to see what it runs now. Should be at least 10 teens to Ohs based from your previous power.

I thought the maggies could make more power. What is the max boost they can make 12.5?

Is this the package you used in the conversion JRE LS3 Hot Street Blower Cam Package on your website with the L99 to LS3 conversion? And any sound clip of the car idle to hear how the cam sounds? I wanted to keep the vvt cam but this is the numbers I want to see on my L99 and I have the Edelbrock blower on my CAMARO now.

You sure the boost drop isn't belt slip? Boost should go up as overlap on the cam does not change using an LS3 valvetrain, just a hunch anyway. Nice power though!

This is def a question for Ted in the am. I doubt the belt could slip with that 8 rib and a 3.2. Plus the belt was like a guitar string.

I don't think thats the same cam we used here. I'm pretty sure that Ted choose the grind for this and future builds. I could be wrong. I'll leave it up to Ted if he wants to disclose the inof, its his cam, not mine. I may be able to take a video with my iphone. I can't afford a real video camera after all this! I'm think its sounds very close to a stock idle, which is what we wanted. Its more fun when you look like a 13 second car!

I will totally 2nd that. Congrats. I would think 75hp over your previous combo will get you into the nines and that is one sick car considering the stock shortblock and heads. The gain might be even more than that considering a torque converter got installed between dyno runs. I remember on my 4th gen the RWHP got lower after the converter but of course my ET dropped almost .5 sec. I would think if you step up to a bigger blower like the KB or Whipple it would be shortblock time for sure. I think a bigger blower at the same psi would put out some killer numbers on your setup. I totally want my L99 to perform as well as yours has.
