Check out the current model Corvette or even the Aston Martin V8 - both now have truck mirrors over here (uk) and it's all down to European safety or some such rubbish. In either case, I'll be getting used to that if I want a Camaro over here.

Quite like the rear lights. Oh and mirrors have to fold so that's why they look like that!

I see Michigan license plate. Yet I see German road signs?

I think this likely is a european spec model.

Also guys, it would seem the article made a mistake by calling the lights atop the diffuser reverse lights. They seem to simply be deflectors. The reverse lights look to be within the tail lights (the chrome trapezoid of LEDs). And yes, I'm a hater.

I'm not so sure. From my understanding, most european regulatory agencies required red brake lights and amber turn signals, even on the back. No red turn signals like here. This doesn't look like it would comply with those specifications.

My condolences to the future European Camaro owners...

If, for some insane reason, this makes it to the US market, I am so glad that I gave in and bought an early 2010 build (No back up sensors, GM badge). Can't imagine those changes being made for N.A. markets though.

hmmmmmmmm. ... I really want to LED-ize my current ones (a la afterburner lights), but this is a lil over the top. Very "avant garde"

I think these are nice and is my design focus for tail-light modding:

I didn't have as bad a reaction as the fellas above....huge mirrors though?

And so it begins....

The demise of a beautiful car! Who in their right mind allowed clown concepts to design those tail lights and mirrors?? The RV mirrors that went on sale almost a year ago from this sight are sooo much better (Forgot designer). But come on, there must be a better way to do reverse lights! SOOO glad i got my version 1.0 2010 before this! Then again hopefully it is an unfinished prototype

No modding could fix that mess! Unless you mod back to the original design, then that would be regression?

I'm willing to throw down $20 bucks right now that this is a European Camaro. Its in Germany, has EuroSpec equipment and is still LHD.

I'm not worried.

Look like the same mirrors on the Caddy XLR well if these are new I will order 2010/11 mirrors from the parts dept and put the on my 2012 vert. As for the tail lights looks like I will need to tint those.

Hopefully they will put like a red/black color lens over the tail lights to hide the ugly led patterns. :/

European version?

Is this the European version? Like the taillights, they look modern. Dislike the giant cartoon mirrors, they look ridiculous. My 2¢.

Taillights =

Giant truck cartoon ugly mirrors =
