Like the Beach Boy's lyric in the song "409"...."I saved my pennies and I saved my dimes".... , I too will do so. That's the most outrageous RPO Camaro yet....I wan't it! I must have it! Come on 2012....!

Nice tire chirp at 0:45.

Car looks very planted and balanced. GM needs to bring in the same black magic that made the CTS-V sedan a Ring star to the Camaro.

Holy $hit. That thing is holding up pretty good for all that weight. Hardly any body role [again for the weight].

Got a go watch it again.

Having now driven round the 'Ring' in a Camaro,i now realise what an incredibly taxing circuit it is.There is no 'run off' anywhere and within the first five minutes of the public session i went on,some bloke had stacked a Porsche GT3R on about the 15th corner.
Better get them spring rates right!

Sounds great. Not quite as "nasty" as i was hoping for, but I'll take it.

What I wouldn't give for a chance like that! I understand it isn't too expensive to run there, it's just getting the ride there, LOL!!! I bet it's pretty soberring to see a car like that run off... OUCH!

I'm drunk off all these new photos and videos! Please keep them coming though

Pedders has already proven they can bring magic handling to the Camaro SS...lets hope this car incorporates some of that.

I know no more than anyone else here, but I really think it's going to come pretty well equipped straight off. I believe the base package with like a 2SS, and then one could add some more goodies on top of that, like a higher performing Track Pack and a higher-level interior treatment. I know that, except for the sunroof, I'd like a pretty well loaded one, but we're going to have to wait to see what happens. I'm sure, with a Track Pack and trim level upgrade, it'll easily get into the neighborhood you're thinking, but I'd be pretty happy with a RS2SS-type base level. I don't really think I'd be too interested in something like drilled rotors, Recaro seats, or some of those other add-ons we see in other cars.

I'm still struck by how loud the blower is when it takes off for another run down the track. I'm sure the wall amplified it, but I'm thinking we'll see a bump in boost, maybe to 10 or 11 psi. That'd probably be good for almost 600 HP if they can use a lower restriction dual mode exhaust - they're good for something like 6 HP on the earlier LS3 'Vettes, no?

It's a very exciting time for a Zed fan

All I've got to say is please do not go and check out the youtube comments on the two videos like I did. Not too many on the 2nd video yet, but the 1st video....ugh.

Everyone thinks that is the car's paint job. Some think there is no difference between it and the current car (again, not realizing the new lines are hidden with the tape).... some people are calling it fake because its not in America..."see the sign...its not in english". Some think there is no difference at all and its just a 2010.

That place will piss you off with the insane amount of ignorance going on there....but I guess when you have a million 12 year olds posting thats what you get.

Maybe its just me, I think it still sounds "tame".
I know they probably are still testing different sounds, Hope they go a little louder instead of quiet like they did on the SS.

SIGMA -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_Sigma_platform

ZETA -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_Zeta_platform

The sigma front suspension is closer to the Vette than ZETA.

SIGMA

I am out of the office and don't have access to my photo file. The main difference is that the Camaro has NO upper control arm with the CTS-V has an upper control arm. The lack of the control arm didn't stop Pedders from running faster than a CTS-V race car on slicks while the Camaro was a full street car on street tires.

I don't think that is a stock LSA, the CTS-V doesn't whine that much
