Actual Bumblebee from Transformers movie up for auction

http://cgi.ebay.com/TRANSFORMERS-Bum...QQcmdZViewItem

If I wasn't broke ... all money from the auction goes to charity too.

Anybody wanna make me loan?

I wouldn't be surprised to see some people actually go out and buy a '77 in order to make their own 'Bumblebee'. I'm sure you could find a decent one at a very reasonable price, and spend a little money on a repaint.....

I've read that Camaro is actually solid and painted to look like it does, has anyone else heard that?

It has a brand new 5.7 and the body was indeed painted. The car is hot. And now it's expensive!

Now I had asked this before because I had my dates wrong, I've read several articles on this car, some date the Camaro as 74, others 75, some 76, and some 77, what is the actual year??

I'm pretty sure the consensus was a '76 based in the crome bumbers and the rear window style...Correct me if I'm wrong..

I saw an interview where they were explaining which one it was. They wanted an old one with a chrome bumper. They initially suggested a 69, but they wanted one a teenager could afford and the worst year in the 1st gen.

They decided on the 77.

Plus, it says it on the ebay page:

One expensive Camaro!!

Camaro is here. I guess that is one of the best props you can get from transformers. Would be even nicer if they were to sell the 2009 camaro. I wonder how much that would go for

The 2009 is a modified GTO. You'd be paying for the body only.

I don't mind the looks of the 77 one bit. I like it better then the early 80's Camaro but thats just me. 77 was also my dads first Camaro and he got all excited at the movie, then it transformed and I got super excited. It was kinda funny for us each getting excited over the Camaro of our generation. anyway I stumbled across this and the last post is the best... check it out: http://www.sportstradercentral.com/g...maro-sale.html

~Cheers!!

500,000 dollars? Huh, imagine. if all the cars nowadays were hand-made, like the Camaro concept...huh, 500,000 dollars, I wouldn't be buying a Camaro...

Man, if I just didn't get laid-off from my job…

Can you imagine driving the POS Bumblebee around town?! It'd be too freakin' cool!!

I'd just blame that on burritos - or the Mustang that didn't go down well.

Oh I disagree. If you can afford it and it didn't break you, that would be an AWESOME memorabilia for a measly $40k. Just imagine going to ANY car show with that car. You can't lose.
