20 & 21" wheel weight?

Does anyone know how much the 20" and the 21" wheels weigh a piece? I was asking different wheel manufacturers to see how their wheels weight compares to the stock camaro wheels. But I don't know how much the camaros wheel weigh. So any thing helps.

Any source? Or you just being cute?

That said, I expect them to be in the 30lb range, one of the reasons they will be first things to go.

Boss 328's 20x8.5 are 38 lbs each; Boss 329's 20 x 8.5 are 40 lbs each. Just check out wheels stores for specific wheel. Stock wheels should come close to after market.

Not really?

Stock wheels have no relation to after market other than they are round. And Jesus, 38lb/40lb wheels, I hope none of you are foolish enough to strap those boat anchors to your car.

I'm pretty sure they have the same bolt pattern, but the offset could be very different.

If you don't give a crap about performance sure. But then why not buy some Cadillac to cruise about in instead of a Camaro?

how deep can you go on the wheels? I am probably getting 20x10 in the back... will it fit?

I want to go 250/30/20 in front and 270/30/20 in back... will that work?

No. Corvettes run a 5x4.75 inch (120.65mm) bolt pattern. Everything about the VE platform and Holden engineering lead me to believe that the Camaro will be running 5x120mm bolt pattern, like the GTO and the G8. The center bores will also not be be the same. I wouldn't do it because the wheels will be neither hub nor lug centric, and the lug nuts won't seat properly.

No idea, but if you ever find those tire sizes, let me know.

I'm interested in the 1LT 18inch wheel weights. Not for anything particular reason, cause I'll be leaving the stock wheels on anyway - I'm just curious.

250 and 270 dont exist. The RS comes with 275 in the back, why would you go thinner?

Also Dale Jr. car had 305s in the rear. So far thats the widest there is. Well see when the car comes out. Also the front looks like you can get 275s under there. You want thicker tires for a heavier car.

oh really? I was just going off the tires I have on my mustang... they are 255/40/19. I am getting aftermarket wheels, if 305s fit in the back thats awesome. So maybe I will do 275s in the front and 305s in the back.

from what ive heard the size on the rear of the car with the 20" rim is about as wide as you can go without any major surgery.

ill see if i can get any info on the other wheel weights. they took a while to get a responce from but ill try.

What performance tire would you guys suggest in the 20/21 inch rim size.

I was looking at the goodyear supercar tire but I think the tire shop said it didn't come in 21 inch.
