Great news Jeff! Thanks for the update!

I was looking through your shop photos... wish I had that much space. BTW... who gets the "Les Nessman" office? LOL! (obscure reference from the old TV show "WKRP in Cincinnati"...)

I ordered another set of turbos today to see what the V6 likes better. The cost/performance trade-off is what I am playing with as these are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the Tial-housing Garrett Turbos we use in the V8 kits and will still make solid power on 8-9psi with the V6.

We shall see...

Right now it's only a matter of who wants to play "Guinea Pig"
I sent a few PM's and emails out so I will let you know once the lucky person/shop responds and we set up a date to get it dropped off,
Jeff

Nice! I'm actually starting to get a little excited to follow this thread! Jeff, what location are you guys going to put the turbos? Is it going to be a mid-mount setup?

Jeff, anytime you need a V6 car up on the lift for measurements, etc. let me know. I'm wanting to avoid a tune until my powertrain warranty is up because of the issues people are having with this AY6 M6 trans (http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91813).

We have been very pleased with the results from the V8 5th-gen so the set-up will be as similar as possible. The turbos will be smaller of course but the lay-out and such will be identical. The more pieces/parts we can use on both the cheaper it will be

Here are a few pics of the prototype V8 Kit:

You can send one over to me and I'll guinea pig it! All I would need is the mid-mounts, oil taps, and piping from turbo to intercooler. Everything is aleady in place (intercooler, blowoff valve, intake piping etc., trifecta tune). Ship it and we can compare it to the STS set-up!

It looks really good Jeff, I definitely like the mid-mount setup better, My only complaint would be where you have the Intake filters tucked next to the Oil pan. Seems like a pretty easy place to suck up some water on a rainy day.

We include "Filter Socks" to cover the filters:

http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...Prod=RU-1470PK

...and a lower skid-plate to protect the turbos and lower tubing from road debris. The filter location is limited based off the 4" turbo inlets we use on the V8 cars. We won't have that issue on the V6 so the filters can be routed much further forward and higher.

Sounds good. Definitely impressed with how well your kit seems to be thought out. Will definitely be awaiting the results for this kit.
