[PICS] Pfadt Europe customer Camaro Race Car build!

A lot of people do not know this, but Pfadt Race Engineering has a global reach with our facility in Germany, at the base of the most famous race track in the world: The Nürburgring. We have a large European Corvette following, due to all of the fantastic (and easily accessible) race tracks in Europe and the importing of C5 and C6 Corvettes. When it comes time for European customers to build or tune 5th Generation Camaros, the story is no different. They go all out with Pfadt chassis products.

I won't get into a ton of details right now, but I do want to show everyone the level of build that Fast Forward Motrosports in Belgium is doing. I think it is quite clear this will be one amazing FIA GT track-specific build.

There are not many suspension manufacturers that can say there are multiple race cars running their components right off the shelf. How you guys manage to engineer parts that offer such high levels of performance while maintaining ride quality and feel is beyond me. All I know is that is why we chose to carry Pfadt.

PS: Next trip to Europe I am stopping by for a visit, be sure to keep a fresh set of tires on hand.

What GT category will it be in? I'm assuming GT3. Considering the competition, that's pretty awesome for the Camaro. Some of the other cars in FIA GT3 are the Audi R8 LMS, Lamborghini Gallardo, Corvette Z06 and the Porsche 911 GT3. They are probably on par with the GT2 category in the American Le Mans series.

Your bumper looks awesome. I think you have a good job for it. Good luck for that. Hope to see some progress on it.

Well here is the thing. This car is seeking FIA GT3 Homologation. To be perfectly honest, it is no easy feat. The more strategic path will be FIA OpenGT which has cars with more open rules sets in them, but less of a field.

Again, the Engine restrictions will be limited by the rules-set. But you can be assured it will be LS3 based with perhaps a power-to-weight modification to bring it up to spec (the Camaro even in race trim is quite heavy).

And just another thought, the VERY SAME coilovers that they are using in this build are the ones that you can get on SALE right now. Check the Camaro5 Thread. CAMARO COILOVERS

Awesome build! As many have mentioned it's no surprise they went with Pfadt Suspension for their race car. I have a lot to thank you guys for since the Pfadt parts apparently work quite well on our car as well

Btw, I am heading back to the Nurburgring for a week long race in May, I have to take Pfadt Europe's Vette out for a few laps
