OMG How Did I Drive Without A MGW

WOW I got my MGW shifter installed today and I just returned home I do not know how I drove without one. The feel is so much better and positive feeling. No chance of missing shifts with this bad boy, the composite shifter knob feels so natural. There is just a tiny bit of noise from it being more solid but you really need to listen for it. It does not rattle at all and it looks great. I love how short the shifts are but I would have liked the stick to be a little shorter. I thought I heard someone bought one is that true?

I love my MGW shifter. I've had it on the car for 4000 miles. Way better than the stocker for sure. I have never missed a gear.

Springs loosen up a bit. Should be broken in around 500 miles. One of the best mods I've done. MGW is a class act company and makes a great product!

If you are in CT I would go to Jannetty to have yours installed and leave your dealer out of it.

Stealth Mode MGW

I originally had a little tunnel resonance in the car due to the rigidity of the mount. I loved the look and feel, but the bride unit complained about the noise. Her hearing is much better than mine, so... adjustment and tuning time.
I worked on it for a while, but I finally got my MGW into stealth mode. I removed the MGW supplied rear fork brace and put the factory piece back in. Took a little dremel work but it is as quiet as the factory unit now and still just as crisp.

Wife is Happy and so am I....

Loving my MGW more now...
