Borla Atak Cat Back Install

Expecting it to come in any day now, are there any gotchas during the install or is it pretty straight forward and easy? No access to a lift so I will have to perform the crawl method :(

Its pretty straight forward and easy. But get help from a 2nd person.

Before starting the job make sure all the nuts and bolts are ok, I got to my last clamp and ended up having to take a tap and die to it.

Would be easier with 2 jacks or a tranny jack. That stock system is heavy. Spray some wd40 on the rubber muffler hangers to help get them off.

I found the stock pretty easy to get off the rubber hangers, the bitch was getting the new back on.

I did it alone so it's possible, but a second person getting the stock system off would have helped. getting the new system on was cake! It's self explanatory really.

Got it today and had it installed in 30 minutes by myself, no gotchas, thanks again guys. I took the recip saw to the stock one, I have no use for it, so I didn't care.

You need to start over and video tape the whole 30 minute procedure and sell the video to speed shops. Some of them want 5 hours labor for installation of a cat-back

5 Hours! That's crazy, if I didn't have to jack the whole car up I could have knocked a good minute or two off. Don't forget, I took the recip saw to the old exhaust, it came off in minutes, taking it off nicely would have taken more time. I didn't have to remove the brace and fight the mounts like you would have if you took it off the proper way.
