Oh Man, I feel like I'm SOL

Ok, I live here in Louisville, Ky and only one dealer took deposits for MSRP. I looked on the thread for MSRP dealers and thought I found one half the way in Indiana. I gave the internet salesman my credit card # for the 1k deposit over the phone. We also exchanged emails before hand of what they wanted for the Camaro. Today I called to cancel the high wing spoiler...the salesman told me he was leaving the company and I spoke with a new salesman. I told him that I never received my alpha numeric order # either (the first salesman kept coming up with excuses). He then told me that they only did that to the first four. I told him I was supposed to be number 25 of 26 allotments. I then found out that there were only four allotments, long gone. He was to call me back and when he didn't after two hours, I called them. Well that was over an hour ago and still haven't received a call.
BTW, I thought I ordered 11-4:(

You need to find a reputable dealer. Talk to Camaro Scotty he will take care of you. He is on here. Just do a search

I'd say SOL sounds about right. Somebody needs to take a ass woopin' over that raw deal!!! Shall we send the boys in Burbans to KY?

EDIT: On the bright side, at order #25 with only 4 allotments at that dealership you weren't slated to get your car before 2010, so if you can now find a dealer with an allotment remaining, you will be moving your delivery up to late summer '09. Luckily you found out now, not later!

Yeah, I was looking in the mailbox again today before I called and it was empty...again. I really believe it was the salesman I was working with but the other one could have at least called me back. I will be looking at other dealers within driving distance but I am afraid that the allotments are getting low by now.

In for a roadtrip? Or a one-way flight? Call Paddock Chevrolet in Kenmore (Buffalo), NY. They were allocated 63 (of which I placed the first order ) and last I knew still had almost 20 left. Talk directly with the new car manager Tony Rao (716) 462-6367 x 113

He's a pretty straight shooter as far as I'm concerned. If he has 5 left HE WILL NOT tell you he's got 18.

Tell him Trent sent you...

The Deliverance movie took place in South Carolina, the HatField/McCoy fude was in East KY. I am truly glad there is a difference between them, us and YOU that is for sure!

The movie was shot on the Chattooga River which separates Georgia and South Carolina. The river flows into the Savannah River.

you should send him an e-mail telling him all about how you just posted his dealership up on the Camaro Chevy forums as being scumbags. Might fetch a response.

Never underestimate the power of negative attention. The bread and butter of Chevrolet is the enthusiast community. When dealers lose the buyers who want the expensive, fast cars, they lose it all.

Just got back from a dealer down the street from me...no kidding. They had changed the name of the dealership. The prior name was very similar to another one here in Louisville and I had thought that I had contacted them earlier but hadn't.
Long story short.
After telling him about everything, I sat there and watched as he entered my Camaro. I have a six digit preliminary order #!!! No more being jealous!!! At MSRP and he wanted a 500 deposit and then waved it after it was ordered!!!! Can you believe that? I'm #3 of 6.
So I told him as soon as I could get home I would put this up.
Springhurst Chevrolet
The G.M. that did this for me is Buddy Peacock. The salesman was Kody "Mac" Waddell
