Very interesting. I'm not sure if I would do this mod, but I love the concept and from the pictures, it looks like it is done well.

A few questions:

1. How much more weight does this add to the vehicle?

2. Obviously there is some heavy modification involved. How long does the conversion take?

3. Since the roof and roof portion above the doors is modified and presumably re-painted/re-cleared, are the whole rear quarters re-cleared as well (this would need to be done to properly match the clear coat) and is this included in the cost?

I vote for Targa top as my old C5 vette had. Looks cleaner. I agree with what some have said which is where do you put the T-Tops after you take them off? I know, I know just don't drive in the rain but that's no guarantee here in FL.

It kinda is. About 3 pm every day....it'll rain. At least it did when I went to Naval Nuclear Power School there.

Targa top would have looked much better IMO. But this still does looks good, needs some glass tops, and a price closer to the 3K range!!

True, although it is the dry season here right now. Haven't had rain in a while. Did you go to Nuclear Power School here in Orlando at the old Naval Training Center?

my 87 z/28 required a large towel and my 89 Iroc had serious flex
My convertible decapitated twice, d=sadly I have no faith in an after-market attempt as the factory failed and passed so faron Gen5. Lastly Body Color tops?

Maybe the designers will take a look at this and implement something similar in the Camaro in years to come. Like others have said, I like the look, but wouldn't go for a kit form for fear of finding parts down the road. At least if it's factory, you'll have either factory parts or copies of factory parts.....

I don't care for it at all. I have had an Iroc with T-Tops since 1998 and if I had it to do over again I would have bought one without the T-Tops.

I don't think they're the end all be all but I definitely don't hate them either. I just think they're priced a bit high. Other than that I think they've done a good job with it but you know what they say....

I like it! But for $6500 I will wait for the convertible and make the whole roof vanish!

Yuk, I don't like it. T-tops on the Camaro is just not a clean look. On the other hand, I wonder why when ppl don't like something they're automatically labeled as a "hater"?

Yea, kinda feeling the same....maybe it is the price that kills it for me...

for 6.5-7 I can supercharge it...T tops cannot be THAT important, but if you have the cash thats you

The problem is the new Camaro is not a hardtop- It's a coupe.
I hope someone comes out with a kit to eliminate the "B" pillar so the new Camaros look like the Camaro concept. Reinforce the unibody, remove the B pillar and change the 1/4 glass, trim, and w/strips and then you would have a impressive mod with a lot less work than this T/top conversion. Also, you can keep the sunroof.
Just like the '67-'69 Camaro and again, take a look at the 5th gen concept hardtop with the windows down. Beautiful or what !
