I just noticed this on Jalopnik but missed it here, LOL! They missed the release of CAMARO as the reason for this event, though...

That sometimes happens when you have a High Horsepower version of a vehicle doing massive burnouts huh? In all seriousness, this is a big thing for South America to get the Camaro and enjoy what many of us have for over a year now. More videos ad pictures are to follow as they are released from GM to us.

Does Hennessey have good Camaro sales from these shows in places like Columbia. I am guessing there is lots of money still in Columbia, I would be thinking SUV or truck sales.

The donuts looked like fun.

I hear the Columbian Camaro can't handle though...

Something about following the white line...?

So I am wondering if Colombia enjoys the same warranty on the Camaro as the U.S. given the amped entry and driving style! I hear tell the drivetrain runs at a much higher metabolic rate and the cars tend to run for much longer periods of time without rest. Seriously... it will be good to have some of our S.A. brethren represented at Camaro5 as they bring the new King of the Road to their country. Ole!

They have to drive just as far as some of us to the C5Fest...

Actually I just google'd it -
Columbia is closer than I am to C5fest2
...

and they need to drive across all of Mexico, panama, Nicaragua, guatamala, etc....
