I was at the LSX shootout and took a couple pics from the hendrix booth. I look forward to buying this system myself. Tom was a great guy to talk to.

Since its carpet fiber does that make it cheaper? I would be a little worried about durability.... I dont know anything about carpet other than if it feels good under my feet!

Hahaha that's great! At least your using premium carpeting. Shows you really care about the customer!

But in all seriousness are we looking to see these after SEMA? And will it come with whatever gearing we choose?

A lot of things should have been a factory option with this car that arn't. We got the power of a muscle car but it seems everything was designed to only handle that much power with very little room for upgrades!

Yeah... makes me wonder who they have designing these cars... what seems like simple common sense to us just never makes it into the production :s Don't even get me started on the clutch...

Let's see. Ford carrier in a GM product. No, I don't think that's going to be a factory option. How many guys are running in the 11's and 10's on the factory carrier?
Keep the extra 19 to 40-lbs of unsprung weight, IMO. The issue with this car is power to weight ratio and we've got plenty of weight already.
The driveshaft does make me drool, though. How much lighter than stock is it?

Fyi this is not a ford product, its ford STYLE but not ford,do you think every factory sponcered dodge and chevy nextell cup car could get away with running ford parts lol...The weight is not rotating weight so its not bad especially in that spot, also if you use a aluminm housing and change your stock battery to a optima you would be about the same weight with a much much better drive train...If you have much power at all the stock rear will not last period, there will always be a few guys bolt on 16 inch slicks and get a great time on stock parts,i prefer to drive my car on the street and on street tires a car with the power to run a 10 second pass will destroy the stock pieces ...As far as our carbon shaft it will not weigh any less than the stock, maybe more ,the stock shaft only weighs 16lbs but the good news if we had a shaft HALF the weight of the stocker you wouldnt see any difference in ,as you pointed out ,a heavy car..
