Trim bump stops with h&r springs?
Going to install the h&r sport springs tomorrow. They sent a paper showing the length to trim the bump stops on different model cars but the camaro is not listed. Does this mean no trimming of the bump stops is needed? What did you guys running h&r do? Thanks for the help.

This has been discussed many times and you get almost as many different answers. What I understand is that you're lowering your car X amount. You then have that amount LESS of shock travel. While this may or may not be a problem with a 1in drop, if you go more than that, you are in the area to which you could hit the bumpstops on even regular sized dips/bumps. Cutting the bumpstop will give you back the inch or so of shock travel so you won't be bouncing off the bumpstops all the time.

Your supposed to trim the rear bump stops 1". I believe all the springs that go over 1" drop recommend to trim the bump stops
h&r and you will find several threads with this infoMy h&r springs are going on this week
