This was so easy! Do yourself a favor and take off the wheels first and fold away the fender liners to get easy access to all the bolts. That 7mm needs to be a 1/4 socket.

If you are new to putting the Camaro on jackstands. Read the threads on the topic. Really.

Took the opportunity to throw on the CAI, ADM scoop, and do the washer bottle relocation mod.

No badges on mine. I like the clean look. And I took off the ugly gold bowtie in the rear. I did leave the little red SS on the right rear.

Thanks again Op.

Thanks for this DIY, due to having a special ratchet I was able to easily complete this without even jacking up the car. thanks again!

Just installed my heritage grill and the video was a big help. I would have had a hard time finding those 7mm bolts without it. Thanks for the help.

This is a great DIY. Personally, I like the stock grill on black SS, but if I were going with something different this thread would surely be very handy.
Thanks, for sharing the knowledge.

This thread ought to be called "DIY Heritage Grille Install - (Remove and Reinstall Front Bumper/Fascia) WITH ONE FRIGGIN HAND"

Great walkthrough Chris, I may just have the gall to do this myself!

I used this guide to install my heritage grille.

Those clips gave me an even greater appreciation for the effort GM put into this car. I was really impressed to see how well that grille was attached.

!

Great videos, helped me out when I had questions about where a couple of the bolts were, and about the little clips. Definitely helps to remove the front wheels and liners.

Thanks for posting this guide

You sir are my hero!!
I'm not a mechanic, but your videos made it possible
for me to install my grill.
I did invent a few new curse words but all in all I was able to
get the whole thing done.

Thank you for taking the time to film & post this info!!!!!

I have not seen a response to your question on where can I get an "SS" emblem for my heritage grille? The grille I bought came with the Bowtie, but iIthink I would like the "SS" better. any suggestions?
