I think I will order this. This is the right size to do the center console plate and cluster bezel right?

If what you want to cover is less than 6" in any given spot then it will work. Do give youself some extra though for handling if need be.

I purchased some of this and so far wrapped my center console, cupholder, and bowties on front and back. What I have done so far looks AWESOME!

The stuff wasnt too bad to work with, and is very forgiving. I am having problems with the instrument cluster - the complex curves are proving difficult to work with. I really think that with some work, I'll get it, but my first attempt wasnt as good as I wanted it to be. I got extra, knowing that this was going to be a learning experience. Seeing how good it looks, now I want to do some additional areas, as well; so I will probably need to make another order soon.

One question though - While it worked great on the hard plastic, I find that the Hexis doesnt stick too well to the softer, flexible plastic trim on the interior. Do you guys at Headlight Armor have any tips or suggestions? I tried cleaning the plastic with several proudcts, even alcohol. But it just doesnt stick. Is there a product that I can use to help the bond between the plastic and the Hexis film?

Thanks! glad you are enjoying it! The stuff is pretty addictive, once you get your feet wet it is easy to find yourself going "this would look good wrapped".

As for the softer plastics, they are going to be harder to do, and if really soft, not practical. As far as cleaning goes, the interior bits will need extra attention as the plastic can leach out anything that was applied to 'clean or condition' the surface in the past, even after a degreasing wipe. One customer went so far as putting the trim pieces from his used 350Z in a bath tub overnight soaking in Dawn. Then the normal prep. The first cleaning attempt left the surface still feeling 'slick'. Should not be necessary but I suppose it is an option for some soaked it circumstances. Realistically, some soap and water, a good adhesive remover, and a rubbing alcohol finish should be sufficient. Hope that helps.
