I think you would have better results using a clear wrap instead of clear coat paint.

Given the 3D texture I would have to think applying a clear laminate over the top of it would be problematic. I suppose you could give it a shot with one of the free samples and see if it was to your liking though.

Nice feedback on the material posted on our Facebook page

Holy Cow,.. finally got around to playing with the Hexis Carbon Fiber wrap. I think i'm in love. I have NEVER seen a product like this. No fake carbon fiber comes close to looking this real. And after watching a few youtube videos on it,.. i was even more amazed. Wrapped my dash, my brother front scoop on his mini cooper, and my glasses! Do you sell a sheet big enough to wrap my house???
Along with some nice dash application photos too

We have a DIY for the application of the bow ties on Camaro5 here in case anybody missed it. They are a pretty simple DIY.

The sheet you need to do wrap both front and rear Camaro bow ties in carbon fiber wrap is on the site here

both the sample and the bow tie sized sheet are shipable via First Class Mail International - there is a nominal fee (shipping is still free to the USA). For the exact shipping price you would need to add the item to the cart, click checkout and then enter your shipping address.

Are you planning anything to offer it in maybe a red and black carbon fiber finish? That's what I'm looking for with my next striping idea but can't remember where the heck I saw it at.

I do not think there are any plans for a mixed color effect. Not sure where you might have seen it either sorry.

pardon my noob questions, but I've not worked with wraps before.
I'm interested in doing the hood and trunk + spoiler on my SS, but I wanted to know if I need to remove the wax before applying the wrap, and once applied if the wrap was ok to wax (hand wax only of course)?

When applying to the exterior panted surfaces removing all waxes / sealants is not 100% necessary, though can't hurt. All edges and any concave (depressions) to be covered should be super clean though.

Once applied we recommend not washing the car for a few days.

As far as regular cleaning and protecting goes we recommend using a product specifically for protecting and conditioning vinyl. 303 Products makes a popular spray that is readily available at a variety of stores. Other companies make vinyl protectants as well. Ideally find one that is not petroleum based for best results.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

For those that missed it, we have free samples of the Carbon Fiber wrap on the site here

Can this be applied to the CAMARO lettering on the fender? And can you put some on the tail light bezel's?

Applying the wrap to the surface of the lettering should not be an issue. If you were thinking to wrap the five sides, then that is going to be a lot more work. As for the taillight bezels, if you are thinking a seamless application it is not going to be the best solution for that.
