MRT V1.0 Installed - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I got MRT V1.0 installed last Thursday.

It is loud, but that is what I wanted. Yes, you hear it all the time while driving, that is what I wanted.

MPG increased by about 4 so far.

I am just paranoid that cops will stop me and say it is too loud.

Car is driven daily about 60 miles one way commute and drone does not bother me, but it is a good sound to hear. I especially like the sound when trans is shifting down (Automatic but sounds great).

Bottom line, if you like it loud then V1.0 is what you want.........

If you had to compare the loudness to something, what would it be?

congratulations, shoot a quick video of a startup and some slow driving for us, I'd love to hear as many examples with a many different recording devices and conditions as possible, so please feel free to contribute.

I doubt you will have a probelm. On top of having MRT V1 I have Airaid intake, LT headers with high flow cats and I've opened up the mid pipes. My car is much more loud now than it was when all I had was MRT V1. I've never had a probelm with cops.

Congrats on getting MRT V1, I LOVE mine!

I listened to audio and watched video for months. I can say that no audio clip will replicate the actual sound. I just made up my mind and pulled the trigger knowing that if I did not like the actual sound, I could change the exhaust. I will post video soon though.

not at all... its not " that" loud...

... have 1.0 and want my car to be louder... DT shorties in a few months

I have not heard anything to compare the sound to except the audio/video clips. It sounds like the clips but deeper and louder.

It is not loud to the point where it would annoy neighbors. In reference to loudness, I am comparing it to the stock sound.

thanks. Yeah louder is nice, but I don't wanna annoy neighbors lol, would make it louder if I had no neighbors though
