Colleen and I are off to the Peach City Beach Cruise with Pumpkin for the weekend. A quick three hour drive up to Penticton, check in and pick-up participant package. First activity of the day is the Poker Run Winery Tour. This will be the maiden trip for the mini-keg system from Green Stone Brewing.

Great event, but the weather sucked.

I have a few pic's that I will post later, but we were hiding from the thunder showers and did not spend much time around Pumpkin and the rest of the cars.:( Which turned out all bad, cause somebody severley scratched the very lower front right of the fascia.

:( But the mini keg worked great and a big hit with the people we shared it with.

Sorry about the weather and the scratch, but friends and a mini keg had to be a blast...

Well it looks like I'm going to ease the sting and dissapointment

:( of not attending C5F III by spending some quality time with Pumpkin

August 2nd on the Ridge Motorsport Park course.

I sure will miss not seeing all my C5 friends.:(

Just the way the schedule works this year. One of our biggest Pro Street races of the year is that weekend.

I sure hope to hell they can pick the winners right this year after last years Debacle? I am just saying people who actually do the work on their car should have more points in my honest opinion, anyone can have someone do the work but when you do it yourself it means that much more!

The road course is such a hoot, once you try it you will be hooked. I got hooked on it from attending C5F II.

One of the highlights from the Peach City Beach Cruise was the mini keg to go tucked away in the motel fridge.

up here in the Great White North sure we will be tasting some Green Stone Brewing brews today. Looks like the mounsoons are over just in time for the fireworks show to night.

Just a little behind on Pumpkin stuff.

The night before we left for the Peach City Beach Cruise Bill and I did a quick DSS axel swap. The JRE posi mod is very, very tight causing a lot banging and clanking from the axel shafts.:( Much better now but looks like I still have to beat on it to loosen the posi up a bit more.

The biggest bummer of the whole Peach City Beach Cruise trip was the scratch Pumpkin aquired somehow.

But on the bright side Ken told me he will make it dissapear.

Off to Canada Day Celibrations

in the park. Western Canada's largest gathering Sam Robert's Band takes the stage at 8:45 fireworks at 10:45 BBQ burgers and beer prior then off to the show in taxi's.

Yeah I'm really bummed about missing Fest. It's just a bad time of the year for me and I can't find a co-pilot.

Running the Ridge is meant to ease the dissapointment of not attending this years Fest. I'll be watching from a far.

Any ideas as to what. I sent the Team Canada flag back to the Ontario crew to fly again at Fest.
