Got lot's to do soon! 12 bolt arrives from DSS on the 20th going to try to get it Pumpkin by the end of the day so I can get it broke in before I beat on it. Probably put the 2-step in tomorrow and do a driveway test. Only a few more Street Legal Nights left in the schedule. Want to lower that 11.98 pass in the good fall DA.

Interduced the Lingenfelter LNC-003 into the ignition system yesterday and it all seems good so far. I don't feel any misfire or backfire on deceleration like the MSD module. I located the box down below the master cylinder on hook and loop tape for easy access for changing settings. This was also as far away I could get the box from the ignition wires as well.

I now have a second manifold to send off to Rhino to work his magic. Big thanks to Crudejewel for lending me his extra manifold. Makes the project easier to just swap out the current one for the ported one.

I'm assuming it will be all good once I hook up the activation wire from the CTAP. The problem before was Pumpkin would not go faster then 13.00 with the MSD module in the system. It was messing with the ignition system some how. Engine code showed misfire on #5 and #7. I did try a 6000 rpm 1st to 2nd shift and Pumpkin was sideways on the street tires when I hit 2nd. Pretty sure it's running on all 8 now.

Be pulling out the stock diff Thursday and putting in the Hammer Head on Friday should have a bullet proof rear end then.

Just stripping down manifold to send down to Rhino. Does anybody know what the extra cover and insulation is all about? Seems to me it would want to hold in extra heat in the manifold.

Rhino filled me in, apparently all that stuff is for sound deadening. Will be losing the foam for sure and painting the cover IOM.

Today is day one of two for the Hammerhead 12 bolt installation in Pumpkin. Will just be pulling out the stock one today as UPS has the new diff scheduled for delivery tomorrow morning. Will also be making the final connections of the Lingenfelter CTAP to LNC-003 2 step and preparing my laptop and SCT tunner for data logging for Ted.

OUCH! Those BMR bushings were suppose to be almost as hard as aluminum ones.

Made good progress yesterday on Hammerhead but had to put project on hold due family emergency. Just have to put driveshaft in, check all bolt's for correct torque and put the wheels back on it. I'll try to post some pic's later to night.

This pic might be one of interest in regards to the diff vent. For the time being we slid a piece of tube inside the the vent fitting then slid the stock vent tube inside of it and used a piece of heat shrink tube to hold it all in place. This fix is temporary til I figure out what AN fittings and hose I want to use.

Between my Buddy Bill and SCT we have been trying set up my laptop for data logging. It's been a struggle since my tunner was several firm ware updtes behind. Were close now just need one more driver for the automatic updater. Looks like one more call to SCT. There support has been stellar.

Just a little test on the hoist at 1500 rpm hardly hear it but it works.

Even Ken at Straddle Craft did a little work on Pumpkin today. Manifold cover ready for final sand and a splash of IOM. Pumpkin will look pretty now even with the engine cover off.

THX! Primer soon to be IOM. Lot's of the time I have the engine cover off for cooling purposes, once I do the heater hose relocation when I swap manifolds out Pumpkin will still look decent.

Finally I was able to get back to the Hammerhead project to finish it off last night. We were able to take Pumpkin for the first heat cycle on the new diff between rain storms last night. Here are the last few pic's of the install.
