The weekend is almost here! Be sure to place your order before 4PM EST tomorrow to beat the weekend shipping lull for delivery early next week.

Hey everybody, today I installed my BMR lowering springs. I went with their 1.4'' front springs, and 1'' rear springs. Did it by myself and took about 3 1/2 hours, not too bad. The front was pretty easy and simple, the rears were more of a pain in the ass. Wouldve been easier having a second set of hands in the rear, since getting the strut assembly out was a little tough. But overall, an easy install. I love the stance and the car handles great. Looks like the front still needs to settle a little bit. I didnt take too many pics because i used this tutorial and it was spot on

So does the split kit just give it a more old school look with the higher rear or is there actually a handling benefit to it?

There isn't necessarily any benefit to having the front lower than the rear but lowering your vehicle's center of gravity always benefits handling, plus you have the benefit of improved spring rate. BMR offers 1 inch springs and 1.4 inch so it was natural to split it to imitate the old school look.
