Question about running high HP on a Dyno

So I’m going to be attending Dyno Day next week. Last time we took one of our higher HP Camaros to an event we were only able to get 540 rwhp but the torque was like 650. We feel that the motor is more like 700 hp and it’s running through a powerglide transmission. We are wondering if it was possibly spinning the tires on the dyno drums.

Anyone with experience running a dyno have a suggestion on how we can make sure the car doesn’t spin on the dyno?

It was a couple years back but from what I remember they used two tie downs in the back in a criss-cross formation and maybe one on the front.

BTW: this is a 383 with a Procharger pushing about 22 psi using a blow through carb. We’ve run 6.75 in the 1/8th on drag radials through the exhaust and in full street trim.

They were some drag radials....I think M/T but were kind of old. We just recently put a new set of M/T drag radials on the car so that might help as well.

I don't remember hearing it slip but then again the car was screaming as well.
