Changing colors in you LED's for your ABL

So this is for info only, How to Changing colors in you ABL LED's, There are lots of LED out there in all kind of Size's and colors, The one's i will post pics of are the ones that come in your door or if you have done the dash ABL.

If you google you can find lots of 5 mm LED and there are many colors, so lets get to it.

In one pic you see new LED's and then the next pic is the back of the led holder from gm there are 4 tabs that hold the housing on use a small pic and small flat tip screw driver to open it then there is a pic of the inside there is only a 1/4 watt resister and the led all you do is mach the resister to the led your using.

Change out the OEM led and snap the housing back, and your done have fun.

pretty cool, who would have thought it would be as simple as one 5mm led. i would put some heat shrink over those solder joints, just for good measure

That was the way GM did it there is a divider in the housing so the two can not touch, It works good no need to mod.

First time you do it 3-PITA after that its a 1-PITA, You need to remember that all the parts on the car snap on and off so pull the panel off after you remove ALL the screws.
