PART 3 RELOCATING THE WASHER FLUID BOTTLE
FIRST WE MOCKED UP WHERE WE COULD BEST FIT THE BOTTLE,
(WHILE WE HAD THE WHEEL OFF WE WIRED THE NEW PUMP INTO THE STOCK WIRING)

ONCE MOCKED UP WE EYEBALLED HOW MUCH TO CUT AND GRIND OUT OF THE ORIGNAL INTAKE MOUNT

PUT CAI BACK TOGETHER

We had removed the washer bottle last week so I got to drive the car with out the bottle and no air scoop. I noticed a bump in performance this way. You can hear the air flowing more freely.

We added the air scoop and it made a big difference over the washer bottle delete. This is worth it no doubt. Car is faster than it was before and to me thats worth the money. Good mod for under $200.

ADM AIR SCOOP $75 (FREE SHIPPING CAN BE FOUND)
1.2 WASHER BOTTLE $ 39 (12$ expedited shipping)
http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/...eplacement-Kit
total cost $126
TOTAL TIME INVOLVED 2 HOURS AND 45 MINUTES

Any benefit to just using the smaller Washer Fluid Bottle only and not putting in the scoop? The OE bottle is HUGE and using a smaller bottle only seems like a worthwhile mod, even without a scoop.

thats why I did the review, I drove the car for a bit with out the bottle. I felt a bump in performance but it felt sloppy to me. Once we put the scoop in the car is more responsive. I def think its worth it to do the scoop. It feels right now

REVIEW UPDATE : ok so first day I didnt get too much time with the car . Today got to take her out on the open road. I am even more impressed . At 40 mph or so I nailed it and the response actually surprised me. Much more responsive from speed wow.

Would it be possible to install the smaller washer bottle in the original area (I know it wouldn't use the original screws)? I'm not too keen on the idea of putting screws though my CAI box.

That would really be, in my humble opinion, defeating the whole purpose of adding the ADM air scoop to the CAI kit. You want to get the cooler air from outside the car in as direct and obstruction free a path as you possibly can to the CAI box/filter.

Well from the pictures that smaller washer bottle appears to be small enough to attach above the scoop and still be out of the path of any incoming air flow which is why I'm asking.

it isnt it will block the same air as the stock bottle you can get the bag which might help you avoid drilling into your box

the spot you cut into on the CAI is in the back totally out of the way and 100% sealed with the bolts

I was a bit leery too about drilling into my $400 cai but we took our time used a punch and it came out nice and neat

My jack will not jack up the front. I did jack up the front but it is too tall for the front. I guess my scoop will have to wait.

I have seen both of these. I was thinking about the bag.
