Emblems

Does anyone here know how the Emblems are attached to the car?. I was wondering ,because i need to take them off and then re-attach them after im done powder coating them .

Which ones? The GM chiklet? The bow ties on the front and back? All? I believe some will be attached with fasteners (bow ties), but others will be stickers (the "CAMARO").

3M double sided tape. and set screws for the front chevy emblem

if i take off the ss symbols will that ruin the car?
and where do i get stuff powder coatted?

I thought only metal could be powder coated and I thought those emblems were plastic.

you can powder coat plastic, but its a PITA to do. if I were going to go to the trouble, id get new emblems CNC'd from billet aluminum and powder coat them that way.

Get some nice emblems and do what you like with them. I want my emblems with a carbon fiber look.

Just as an FYI, the rear bowtie emblem between the taillights is bolted on. There was a pic of a camaro shell with 2 very visible holes where the bowtie goes.

i was talking about the "Camaro" emblems on the front sides . either powder coat or paint.i need to remove and then re-attach . Thannks for everyone's help

I have so many Ideas. I think other than the custom stripes I'll have painted. I'm going to wait a while before I do too many mods. I'll be sending the rims off to be chromed also but that's it for a while.
