Wortec Exhaust Installed

I found out about Wortec after watching BBC Top Gear and then digging around to find out they do a lot of good work in the UK.

Finally put on my Wortec exhaust and I just love the sound of it. I took a bunch of videos to try and give people an idea of the sound it puts out.
Also I copied what another forum member did awhile back and put black mesh on my GFX.

I like the mesh on the GFX. That's the first one I've seen. I would definately do that if I had the GFX.

I like the mesh. Those mufflers are interesting.

The mesh looks killer, much better than just round exhaust tips. Look forward to seeing/hearing a vid.

So I was googling Wortec Exhaust and see that it has dual settings? Does your have dual settings and if so, how do you switch it, manually or electronically?

I have one in the Uk and they can be switched manually by swapping out a plate just before each muffler. 15-20mins with spanner. Or by subbing the plate for a valve kit then you can just change it from in the car.

After 3 days of driving my car around, I love it. I am finally getting my car to where I want it to sound and feel. It's got a good rumble when idling, but when I get on it it reminds me of my friends Merc E63 AMG. The sound is on par, if not above a tuned German sports car.
I just cannot wait to get the headers from Wortec to match it all up.

I got it in Race mode now and dont think I will switch to Street anytime soon. It is just cool to have the option to switch it out when you want.

You can see where the plate inserts will go behind the muffler.

The only other engine mod I have is the air intake, changed to Vararam back in April at Camaro Fest.

I heard about Wortec after watching Top Gear BBC and seeing the G8 with a Super Charger. Found out it was made by Wortec and then googled Wortec.

Do you have headers in development?

I know they will be working on headers in NewYear. They also have brake packages available and other cool stuff for 2011. Think they are also looking for a USA distributor...

Going to try and get my rear end modified to fit the new tips that Wortec sent me. I saw that they had these on a Pontiac G8.
On the G8:
