What Can I Do To Make My SS Go Vrooom??
New to the site as of about 5 min ago.
Here's the deal..I ordered a Black 2SS RS w the short throw shifter. My knowledge about cars is very basic so I am looking for advice on what after market stuff I can do to the car for a reasonable price. I would like to get 500hp to the wheels or more if the price is right! Thanks in advance for all the advice!! |

I'd say intake, headers, high flow cats, cat back, the hot cam, and a tune should get you pretty close.

It will still run you in the additional thousands, if you have that kinda money thats awesome and more power to you. It will take me some time to slow build up to that, but I dont believe reasonable price goes in the same sentence....just me personally

![]() Depends how much work/money you want to do/pay. The easy route would be to install a supercharger. The harder route would be to stroke/cam it. Both would probably run you about the same amount of $$. |

Do you want to keep your warranty? Cause there are different options depending.

You people really need to get off this hotcam kick. There are much better cams.

Probably shoulda clarified on the "price is right" thing. I'll be recieving the employee discount, so im looking to spend the amount ill save on after market products; also id like to keep warranty if possible but it wont be the end of the world if i cant

cat back exhausts are a waste of money. Just get a set of sweet thunders, bullets, or other muffler and have a shop weld them in. you'll spend 2-300$ instead of $750+. it will sound as good or better and provide the same power gains.

You can always put one of these on it, it's only $149
http://cgi.ebay.com/SCHWINN-KRATE-VR...3A1%7C294%3A50 ![]() Just joking, and welcome to the site.. There are many things that will help, and the only limit really is how much you want to spend.
