Did you get the most recent tune from Vince? I thought he had pulled back some of the pressure from the crank pump after he got the in-tank pump flowing better. Maybe he needs to pull back some more. Don't worry, he'll get it figured out. He had to mess with mine a lot because it wasn't behaving like the others. After headers and CAI I was running 11.4 AFR! He had to try several things to get it back to 12.

If I may ask, how much did that kit with installing it cost you?

I just reached out to Vince last night. Previously I was just letting the shop that installed the kit work out the tune. He emailed me today. As soon as the snow melts around here I can do some logging for him to address.

That's good. If you want my advice, then except for getting him logs take it easy. Those kind of AFRs could really foul plugs. If you AFR is fine at lower throttle, then just baby it until Vince gets it figured out.

Yeah, my AFR is fine at normal driving. Hopefully this snow doesn't hang around too long so I can get him the logs. I wish I would of gone to Vince immediately after getting my car back instead of going back and forth with the place that put the kit in.

I'm sure it will let up. If not, maybe a trip south for a weekend? There are some nice places to visit in MO and lots of quite, curvy roads to explore.

There is a postive side to this, at least we know he's got it pumping plenty of fuel!

Nope no updates. It started snowing in Chicago in early December, so it has just been sitting in the garage since then. There have only been two days since then it was warm enough to take it out, but it was wet out.

I definetly will be updating this thread about March when I can take the Camaro out of the garage. I wish I was in Tampa right about now!

So the safe AFR is supposed to be around 12? If I were left stock, light driving and WOT would still give me around a AFR of 12? I've never really taken the AFR into account. I only have an Injen and Corsa Catback installed... I assume it would change the AFR a bit, but not too drastic correct?

I was considering a turbo kit in a couple of years, obviously by then, a tune would be worked out. Good luck OP, and I can't wait to see your progress!

Not sure if this is what your are asking, but with normal driving your AFR should be stoich. At WOT you will see it get richer and will probably be around 12.0-12.4 at the richest. Some are seeing upper 11s without a tune, which I think is too rich. However, once you go turbo you will run even richer to protect the engine. All this can be tuned today by Vince at Trifecta.

Hope that was the answer you were looking for.

Looks good, i hope you have better luck with your kit than i did with mine. I have their 62mm turbo system on my G8 and after 2000 miles of street driving in May, the tubing is rusted. Like all over the place and the back by the turbos is horrid.

All of the tubing is suppossed to be ceramic plated stainless steel. So you just bought yours in 2010 and the tubing wasn't stainless?

I sent messages to sts, and they asked for photos, i sent them 6 photos from different spots in the car, and they said it shouldnt do that. They gave me a code to put on the box when i ship it back, but thats alot of money, time, and labour to pull out of the car. They want to send it to their coater for some reason, but they already dropped the ball badly.

Hey Steve,

I haven't sent my logs into Vince yet as the Camaro has been sitting in the garage since early December when the salt started to get spread on the roads.

I am not going to the post holiday party, but I am going to the Auto Show meet. Are you going to be there 12/12?
