kooks headers question

Will kooks 1 7/8 with cats bolt right to the factory system? And do headers add alot of noise, already run with just cats, no mufflers on the manifolds and its pretty loud.

I have the kooks with the high flow cats bolted up to a magnaflow catback. I did not think it was much louder than the stock manifolds

I have mine set up with no cats and stock exhaust. You only hear it when you get on the gas. Otherwise sounds stock at idle and cruse.

The Kooks catted connection pipes are designed to mate up to the stock exhaust without any fabrication...just clamps.

If you have a muffler delete, it will add noise (especially at start up and above 2000rpm). I have LTs no cats and muffler delete. It got a bit louder because of no mufflers. I love loud but the drone from 77mph to 95mph is terrible if you are not use to it. I have a lot of compliments when I rump on it though. If you do not want that much noise increase, I am pretty sure MarylandSpeed can hook you up on a deal with cat back system or just good mufflers to fix the drone issue and take the edge off the volume. You just need to call them and talk to them on the phone. Good luck on your choice.
