Hi everyone. Trying to get the shifters ready for shipping and this is what it looks like as of now. The satin black should be good to go on Monday for those who wanted that color option. The wrinkle black will be a bit longer, they didn't come out right and will have to be stripped and refinished, hopefully they will get done before the weekend. I have a few extra satin black if anyone else is interested in that color option, if so let me know. I will pm those that will be ready to ship tomorrow evening, thanks, George.

Thanks for the approval. The real test will be when it's installed and you experience tap shifting in a new way. Hope you enjoy it.

I am hoping to see them re-finished by the beginning of the week. If so assembly should be complete by the weeks end. I'll keep everyone posted.

If you scroll back to pg1 in this thread there is a pic of the satin black. It was the prototype and used for testing so the finish is quite beat. On pg2 is the wrinkle black. If I can get by my shop later I will post a pic of both of them side by side. These are finished unit's. Personally I think the wrinkle black looks best.

Here is a close up off the Satin Black and Wrinkle Black finish. The wrinkle has a texture to it such as does the consul in the car so it blends in nicely.

Nice, can't wait to see it in person. Maybe it's the angle but the satin black one looks like the metal is more a brushed finish. Is that the case? I'd like the wrinkle grip with a brush metal finish if that is an option to match the interior.

Quick update. Did a couple of shifters in wrinkle black for a test run and all looks good. Starting at the top of the list as I have units close to being ready I will pm everyone to varify finish. I think I can get everyone finished this week.
