Well so am I, but it's a matter of how bad it is. I always drive with my left window down unless theres other people in the car, so it isn't ME I'm worried about, its my passengers hating riding in the car because of the constant drone.

I think a tune will help drone. I have Stainless Works LTH and Corsa. Once I got the Tune done, she really came to life. It sounds like the king of the jungle now!

I just installed my JBA 3" catback maybe 500 miles ago. It's loud, anything over 3k RPMs and the cabin gets pretty loud. What I've found is that right around 2,800 in 3rd gear the exhaust is at just the right frequency to vibrate your inner ear bones. Pretty cool actually. Well needless to say the ball and chain told me it was too loud, I put sound deadener in the trunk and it really helped.

The real test will be to put it in 6th gear at 75 mph with the windows up. Will probably be in the - exhaust for sale section - after that. Anything that loud will drone like a mother, unless it was specifically engineering not to.

I have the JBA 1-7/8 LT's, off road mid pipes and cat back, it's loud as shit and drones like a mofo, so when in drone downshift!! Lol
No it's fine if you're driving with the windows down but it's not great for windows up highway drives if you wanna get the most mpg as possible and try to carry long conversations. It doesn't bother me but everyone is different. You're gonna like the sound though

I just finished installing this exact JBA setup yesterday. The drone I have is during mild acceleration from 2nd thru 4th. But once I let off the gas and hit a stable speed in 5th or 6th, it's not bad.

Loud. Yeah, a little. Now I'm 53 years old and told the wife yesterday that I might be getting old since I thought it was a little loud.

But that damn H-pipe setup sounds almost exactly like my first car and engine project, the '68 shown in my signature below. And that was when I was 16 in 1976. I didn't care how loud it was back then.
True muscle car sound and not that "ricer" sound I hear coming out of some of these Camaro's.

I have the JBA exhaust with kooks LT and ya alil drone but nothing that bothers me, I like the loud sound and idle is great! when I rev it or get my rpm's up alil small rapsy but aggressive sound and I love it! but when I had just the exhaust there was no problem either

I've been driving mine around for several days now and still no codes thrown? I was under the assumption that with this setup it'd be throwing some O2 codes?
