Interesting read........don't flame me!!

Ok, I was trying to get back to the website for the letter stuff and left out one word and come across this dealer website.

I'm not saying any of it is true or not, but READ ALL the question and answer section. Interesting to say the least. Scotty or anyone else care to chime in on what they have posted.

Notice their countdown timer? Estimated delivery starting May 10. As good a SWAG as any I suppose.

I thought base was like $23,995? Even with $695 destination, that would be $24690.00.

Keep in mind that we haven't seen an updated price list for the car. There might be a new baseline number coming. I keep hearing the price protection on the pre-solds.

The ABL was the one I didn't like hearing.

Still a lot of mis-information going around and What-ifs?

Only time will tell when it all plays out.

This dealer (Singh Chevrolet) is about 5 miles away from my house. These guys are absolute crooks and also will be marking up "dealer alloted" cars above MSRP, 8000 above for a V-6 and 15000 above for a V-8. The gentleman (Mr Lai) is the worst of the worst at being a car salesman. Working at a local company I had the task of ordering 2 fleet cars from this place (Impalas.) It was a nightmare. I tried to buy a Tahoe from them a year ago, spoke to him, and saw right through his indirect lies. I ended up going to a small family owned dealership in another county (MK Smith, 10 miles away) paid a higher sales tax, but got excellent service, I am guaranteed MSRP or lower, and ended up ordering the Camaro there.

I wouldn't believe anything Singh Chevrolet told me to save my life.

They did mention in passing that a "Z-28" model (with LS-7) is under consideration for late 2010. Still no decision yet.

They already made a Z28 with a LSA. It's simply on hold until a later date IF GM feels the market will accept it.

Don't ever take anything as definite, unless GM says it.

I hope GM is aware of this. It's one thing if they said "The base is 22,995 but we're adding a $6000 markup" but they're LYING to consumers and saying that the base is that high. They should be forced to change that and potentially face legal action if not from GM from the state of CA for lying to consumers.

What are you guys talking about? I'm seeing this:

BASE MODEL PRICES

Model Model Description List Price
1EE37 Camaro LS $22,245.00
1EF37 Camaro 1LT $23,880.00
1EH37 Camaro 2LT $26,580.00
1ES37 Camaro 1SS $30,245.00
1ET37 Camaro 2SS $33,430.00

And the delivery time is in 120 days....production starts in 60

Looks right to me...
