Pfadt vs BMR

I am looking to get some suspension components and was wondering which products were the best.

I want to start with some Trailing Arms then get the rest to complete a drag setup and finally some coil overs. Going to be buying them in steps so I can mix and match if one company is better than another in certain parts.

Which is better between the two in the title in your opinion?

Just bought some Pfadt trailing arms. I'll let you know how they perform. I have very few complaints about the car but the wheel hop is number 1. I'm hoping these babies eliminate it almost completely.

After a lot of time and research I went with both. Springs, sways, trailing arms fro PFADT. Center Brace and Bushing Kit (Pro) from BMR.

The BMR units are a great value. I would also suggest getting their outer bushing as well. It comes out pretty easily. I always add lubricant to the faces of the bushings.

Very happy with my BMR 1" drop springs, Trailing arms and Toe Links with the urethane bushings and the urethane cradle inserts. Went with MTI sway bars.

for trailing arms and limiting the selection to bmr and pfadt, I would absolutely go with pfadt.

The triangulated gussets in their design makes their trailing arm a lot stronger imo.

The fastest drag cars out there are using the BMR Trailing Arms. You may not plan on getting down to a 10 second quarter mile, but it is good to know that your parts are capable.

While I chose Pfadt for my suspension needs, I don't think there's any noticeable difference between the TA's or any beefed up hard parts. Yes they have a different design but as long as they clear your rims, pretty much any of them will work well. That includes the cheaper Spohn ones. It's when you compare the suspension philosophy between companies, where you'll find the difference. While you won't see any difference between hard parts, springs, CO's, bushings, and sways is where you should really do your homework between the different companies.

I've installed Pfadt trailing arms & bushings, coilovers, sport sway bars & endlinks. Performance difference is fantastic.

Aaron Pfadt is always available - pm him using his name with any questions you have.

Also if you "like" Pfadt on Facebook - they're having a Cyber-Monday special you can gain access to by doing so....

The "what brand is best" question is one the comes up very often when it comes to aftermarket performance parts despite the fact that there is rarely a blanket best anything much less a blanket best brand. What there is are parts that are best for a specific application. Pfadt and BMR both make excellent suspension components and each could provide compelling arguments as to why they are the best. We chose to offer both because we find the best option is often a package that includes parts from each of them. Just yesterday a Camaro5 member purchased a pretty substantial suspension package that he and I put together that included parts from both Pfadt and BMR. That package is a better option than anything we could have put together with one brand exclusively. I feel that he got what was best for his application.

Hey everyone, thanks for posting up with the recommendations of our products.

Chase is correct, which parts will be of benefit depend on what your goals are and budget. We can only speak to specifics of our own products, so with that said here is some info on our rear trailing arm design, and the benefits. If you are interested in any more info on this or other products, please just feel free to contact us directly!

This kit comes with inner and outer bushings, and was installed by GM on the Camaro SSX, so it will be carrying GMPP certification.

This direct replacement trailing arm, is part of our ongoing effort to provide well engineered solutions to Camaro suspension shortcomings. We believe that taking this iterative design approach, and putting in analysis time on our designs to come up with a refined component, is what gives us our advantages over the competition.

Designing this part to be both lighter weight and higher strength then the factory component proved to be rather difficult, but was well worth the time involved, as we feel it resulted in the best replacement trailing arm on the market.

Here are some details:
300% strength increase in tension and compression
65% reduction in deflection
20% weight reduction each, including bushings (take a look at the comparison pictures!)
Grease fitting for easy lubrication
Polyurethane trailing arm bushing kit is included
Powder coated silver

I think both companies make great products and I to like to mix and match a lot of the time. We offer Pfadt and BMR as well as Spohn which I think is a great alternative as well and their del-sphere set up is VERY nice! It really comes down to what you're looking for as well as your budget. Please feel free to call, email or PM me anytime with questions. Have a good one and good luck!

Kind regards,
