Exclamation O2 Sensor Extenders Rattling

I have a rattle that happens a lot of time when I hit bumps. I have looked around under the car and the only thing I think that can be causing this rattle are my O2 sensor extenders from my LT headers. I didn't see a great way to secure them to anything. Has anybody figured out a way to keep them from rattling around?

I thought about wrapping them up in foam or something but I was worried that would allow moisture to collect around the plugs which probably wouldn't be good long term.

If it matters, I have Stainless Works LT headers on the car and a Corsa L99 cat back. There is plenty of space between the Corsa mid-mufflers and the stock chassis brace (there are spacers on the chassis brace to move it down out of the way). I'm pretty sure it is the sensors because my friend had Kooks LT's and had a similar problem.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

with the heat around that area my not a problem.if you need you can get marine grade heat shrink with epoxy liner and seal entire connector.then you can insulate.

I have 12" extenders. I just zip tied the slack in them to the fuel rails on top of the back of the motor.

Thanks for the tips. I'll have to give this a try.

I am pretty good with electronics and soldering so i just went out and bought wire and some other stuff to keep the wires from coming exposed and actually extended my o2 sensors myself. its actually not that hard, if you know how to use a soldering iron you could do it. there is also a way to extend it yourself without soldering and is easy to do, you could use crimps, my buddy did that and it worked perfect. so i just insulated it well and covered it up so it looked clean, and that saved me a ton of money and time.

I also zip tied the extenders' excess and looped to itself. I had an issue with the clearance of some chasis studs that came in contact from time to time. Repositioning the exhaust took care of that. Get under your car and tap each side of your exhaust with your palm and listen for rattles.
