Mine will be done on 12/26. The Hud is under the Christmass tree right now. Once the day slowes down I will go out to the garage to start removing some of the parts. I have another member coming over on the 26th to help. I will post up all of the info when it is done.

The cost for Me was $459.00 for the HUID Package from Patrick, $85.00 for the Harness from Ofer, $44.00 for gas to drive to Ofers place in AZ and back home, and the cost of dinner for two at the Red Robin (since it was my turn to pay), so basicly this mod cost around $600.00 to do. Plus this is alot better then trading in a very low VIN number car to get a feature that Chevy should have put in the Camaro from the start.

For anyone doing the HUD install this weekend, Please post your information here. I should have my bezel shortly and my install will be done. Only needing to replace the windshield (after it takes another rock or cracks) at a future date.

It seems to me that local shops could makes some extra sales if they started installing this modification. We should run it by some of the local shops. The question is, how much would you be willing to pay someone to install this for you after you laid out almost $600 on the hardware? I would love to help someone do this in Northern California just to get experience for when I do mine. I would even offer my garage packed with any tools we might need. I hope to add my name to that list on page one sometime in the next 6 months.

I am going to Newman,Ca after the first of the year for some hunting and can help out on a install so you can help some more members later.
