PRC LS7 Cylinder heads On A LS3/L99 Bore Nearing Productions!

Guys I'm proud to announce we're nearly ready to begin a small test production run on the PRC LS7 aftermarket casting heads with a LS3/L99 friendly configuration! The heads currently move high 380s to 390cfm at .700" lift on the 4.065" bore plate! The heads have been configured to allow them to be bolted directly on to a LS3 or L99 engine!

I'll get you guys some quick pics of the prototype at some point here! The great thing is the heads have excellent valve drop so bigger camshafts, or more aggressive VVT camshafts are a option, and they move huge air while staying about the same cc as a ported stock LS3/L99 head!

stock heads move low 300 range. Typically about 315-320cfm or so.

We will see on power #'s, I'll be testing on a car & the engine dyno like always!

these are the ones with the 13* valve angle correct?

do they use ls3 or ls7 rockers/intake manifold?

how big are the combustion chambers?

These are LS7 style heads. They are not the 13 degree LS3 heads we're producing. This item is a new LS7 casting that we have configured so that it can be installed on a LS3/L99 bore. The PRC LS7 heads will require all LS7 hardware (rockers/pushrods/intake etc.) The PRC LS3 heads will use all your factory LS3 components!

We are also producing a LS3 aftermarket casting head that has been seen on this site several times. The LS3 head will feature a 13 degree valve angle.

This head is specifically a LS7 head with some internal changes to allow it to be installed on a LS3/L99 with some other LS7 components.

We will have a LS3 head for guys wanting to stay LS3, but some people want to upgrade to LS7 components. If that's the case then this LS7 casting will be a awesome option. Most vendors offering small bore LS7 heads made them with small valves & slightly better than stock LS7 flow numbers. This cylinder head is designed to bring 400cfm capable ports to a small bore!!

estimated price for your "small bore" ls7 heads?

I remember you saying that your aftermarket PRC ls3 heads will be priced somewhere around the other aftermarket PRC heads... dont remember you mentioning anything about these yet however....

I believe pricing will be in line with most of our other LS7 cylinder heads. That is just a ballpark at this point. However with this head, you will get all the bells and whistles for the aftermarket castings!
