Dropped off the car tonight so they can get started first thing in the morning. Owen was even cool enough to give me a ride home. Now that's customer service!

Cam goes in tomorrow and Whipple should be there Thursday. I should have some pics by the afternoon.

I'll get the specs and post them up, but I went with a mild VVT cam. I really wanted it more for the sound. I love the lope!

A slight delay today. The Whipple was supposed to be delivered this morning (tracking showed out for delivery). Late in the afternoon Owen at ARD finds out that it never made it on the truck. He calls UPS and tells them he's coming out there to get it. He then drives 25-30 miles to the station where they tell him they can't find it. Obviously angry after being told he could pick it up Owen demands to speak to someone in charge. After a long wait he gets the head honcho who finally admits the SC is still in an 18 wheeler. He assured Owen that they would deliver it to him in the morning. Kudos to Owen for working so hard to keep this project moving. He's even going to work late tomorrow night to try and get everything done by Saturday. Now that's what I call customer service!

If I tell you stories about UPS, your head would spin. Once an $8600 kit was sent to me that was supposed to be signed by me at the time of delivery. I stayed home all day for it. Then at some point he had shown up and I didn't hear his truck and which I waiting for him to ring the bell. He drops off the two boxes right at my drive way, not even by garage door and drives away. Later on I get a call from my neighbor that I got two boxes sitting by the road.

Yea. We use FedEx at work for everything. Owen said they do too, and he would've used them if he'd had a choice.
