One issue that gets me, is the fact that the console gauges are not available on any model except 2SS. I believe that these console gauges would add to any model with a console and feel that they should be optional for all models where a console is desired and iddot lights not wanted. Another issue unanswered is I would like to know more about the Catback exhaust system. What is the actual CFM, back pressure, pipe size and is this something simular to the Chambered Exhaust system that I have on my 1969 Z28? Also, what is the tube size of the Shorty Headers offered and the collector size? Thanks for the Hurst Shifter too!

Looks like an SS, I don't see anything denoting RS. Can't tell about the headlights which would be the only difference that I could tell. What else am I missing ? It seems like all the other parts already come on the SS. My dealer was NO help....

Scott,

Please find out if the stripes go over the rear spoiler as I may order the cyber grey stripes if they do..

Easy way to tell if the RS is there is look at the roof ditch molding...more so on a silver car!!

Def an RS...so a 2SS/RS is what this car is.

The stripes do look better over the spoiler. I am going to have my own stripes put on mine. Our "Car Show Freinds" at Right Touch Detail in Mobile AL will do it for me @ his cost. Just not sure if anything would look right on a black car. I geuss white.

Car looks great. Love the color/stripe combo! Stripes over the spoiler look much better, but I don't think they'll be that way from the factory. Fbodfather posted pics of the Red Detroit SS and said in his post that those were the first factory stripe pictures.

I don't think this is a production car...I thought the winner had his choice of build..color ect. This is not the car that will go to the bidder. Just the way I understood it

UGH, you guys read. This is NOT the car that goes to the bidder. This is a representation only. The winning bidder gets to order their car the way they want it.

Rally Stripes

The rally stripes look great! My plans on my new LT2RS cyber gray is to have the stripes painted on in a contrasting mettalic gray.

If someone wins the auction car for $250K and then realize the stripes
on the production car aren't as represented, the buyer would be pi$$ed....I would be.

they also come standard on the 2LT. we've also been told that we can order them through the dealer to be installed in the other trims.

like's already been said, the roof ditches are a dead giveaway on non-black cars. also look in the grille & if there's a red RS or red SS badge, it's a RS car

Is it just me or does anyone else not like the way these stripes are?
I prefer them like the ones on the shelby mustangs that go all the way down the front and back and on the roof, these just look unfinished to me.

Its a preference thing. I like the look of the Mustang stripes ON A MUSTANG. I prefer the look of the Camaro stripes on the Camaro.

That is a shame. If the stripes do not go over the spoiler, it is pointless, no worthless to even have stripes on the rear as they will not be seen from behind..Scott needs to confirm exactly how the stripes will be from factory because showing us two different stripe patterns from production vehicles is making things a little difficult to decide..

lol, I was thinking the same thing. However if the person had that much money to waist, I don't think he/she will care either..

I like the way they look and where they are. It's not a Mustang, it has to be different.
