Finally got the time to get my ADM Race CAI. installed.

I LOVE it! it's frckn awesome! I can really feel the difference.. Compared to my previous CAI the difference was not like this. this CAI is just AMMAAZZIING!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! totally worth the price!

Here's a pic. sorry my engine bay is kinda dirty.

Welcome to the Family of owning the BEST all around Intake made imo.

Andy made this intake 100% perfect all the way around from performance to quality and durability

I just pulled the trigger and ordered the ADM race intake. I had a hard time deciding on this intake and the CAI inc. I ended up getting this because it looks better, has the IAT located in the air box, and if I decide to go forced induction this intake is seperated into pieces so that it can be used on other applictions. Oh yeah ADM has it priced the same as CAI inc and you get both the street and race lid.

I wanted other members thoughts on insulating the ADM air box. I think it would end up putting up the same numbers as the CAI inc with tha ADM scoop. If you look on CAI inc website it shows a thermal image where their air box keeps all the heat out. What are your guys thoughts and what type of insulation would work best?

I'd leave it alone... The gains would be so minimal it's just not worth the trouble.

This CAI is top of the list anyway... ...and you're right about the looks... good choice

I insulated the inside of my ADM race intake with some thin insulation I found at Lowes. About 1/4 inch thick with silver foil on both sides that comes on a small roll. No change whatsoever in incoming air temps. Even though it didn't cost much, not worth it in my mind.

^ Yeah didn't know if it would worth it or not, but goind by by the CAI test done by Jannety Racing the ADM intake saw a rise of 8 degrees between the 4 dyno pulls. Going by that data I thought it may be worth it especially out here in Vegas where engine room temps get very hot.
I might go ahead and try it anyway using this stuff.
