I know there are some threads around with hints/tips for making your new car shine like crazy. But I was wondering if we could get a sticky going with a grouping of some of the well versed member's write-ups of the ways to get the best shine for your car? That way we can have a central thread for product recommendations and tips for external and internal car care. Stuff like what order to use the different products and the best tools needed for awesome results.

I've checked out their site many times. I finally had time to read the application, FAQS, tips and tricks, and some of the testimonials. It's nice to see that they don't really even recommend using an orbital to get good results as it's just as good to do it by hand and that way you don't waste as much of the product. I was under the impression from other products that you'll always get better results from using an orbital to apply products (guess it's just more of a time-saving and easier way of doing it than by hand).
Prices seem to be really reasonable too, like that Zaino Ultimate Protection Show Car Kit for under $120. I see that they also have some leather cleaner and tire shine. But I'm not really sure which of their products could be used for the other interior components, i.e. doors/dash/center console, that kinda stuff. I'm really leaning towards getting one of their kits when my car comes in. Do any of you have any other tips/hints besides what's on that site? Where do you get your 100% cotton towels from? Also, I've never had very good luck when it comes to drying the car. I've tried alot of different shammies and they never work that great. The best drying results I've got were using the Mr. Clean autodry carwash system. Have any of you used that in conjunction with the Zaino products? We have really hard water in this area so the spot-free rinse that filters the water is a great feature.

I believe we will have a new forum section for car care tips and a mechanical section once the car is released.

Maybe a car care sub forum?
And keep in mind that once cars hit the streets we'll open up a bunch more sub forums.

Sounds good to me. I think some new sub forums will be a great addition to the site once the car is out in full force.
