Which rear stripe designs do you prefer?
As suggested, here's a poll to see which style you like better:
the Over-the-Spoiler style as seen at the 2009 Barrett-Jackson Auction or the On-Top style as seen at the 2009 NAIAS

"On-the-top" by a wide margin for me.
The over-the-spoiler version seems unfinished and just slapped on there. If it goes over, than it needs to go over and UNDER, imo...don't end ON the spoiler like that. |

Hard decision, they both have their flaws. One looks unfinished, the other can't be seen. I would rather be able to see them, so over the spoiler for me.

i think that style looks like there's no 'completion' or 'resolution' to the stripes to just end somewhere in the crack under the spoiler

I think the on-top of the spoiler look matches the front stripes ending at the end of the hood. If the front stripes were to continue down the nose to the mail-slot (I already understand why they don't, I'm just making an observation) then the over-the-spoiler look would match up better (more of how Dragoneye was speaking about though). My vote was on top of the spoiler, it just matches better... IMHO.
800th post... yay!

Im getting a high wing so whatever stripes fit better with the regular spoiler off works for me... but I voted on top, idk why lol

Looking back, the Z28 stripes followed the pattern from Zebra's pic.
Front: They went all the way down the front of the car for the first 3 years, then in 70 they started circling it off at the end of the hood. Back: Always slipped into the trunk so it looked "unfinished". It was not rounded off on top of or behind the car. |

It was a very close call for me, but I lean towards the stripes that wrapped over the spoiler and around the back. I'll be fine with either design.
