MBRP GFX Exhaust Tips!!!

Long overdue and most appropriately timed, Southwest Speed is featuring the MBRP Square Tips made exclusively for Camaros with OEM Style Ground Effects Kits installed.

Nothing completes your exhaust like a pair of these. Nothing.

Leaving the round, cut off and shortened exhaust tucked inside your flashy Polished trim pieces of the GFX kit leaves something to be desired and also creates a situation where the heat from the cut short exhaust can overheat and destroy your high dollar Rear Fascia!

Bolted on or welded on to your exisiting 3" (or 2.5" with neckdown) these Gems put the finishing touches on your Baby.

[SIZE="5"]UPDATE!!!!!! 06/11/11 Another SOUTHWEST SPEED MANUFACTURERS PRICE BREAK!!!!!!

Also, do you have more pictures of the camaro above? I am interested in doing the rear white out.

Do these look absolutely rediculous with the round holes in the stock diffuser?

Not a bad question at all. In fact, there use to be just a hint of rasp at higher RPMS. It has completely disappeared in this car's situation.

I don't know that it would neccessarily change the note but it helps to direct exhaust out and away from the rear of the car so that it doesn't interfere with anything.

This car had it's tips cut short to fit inside the GFX...so the MBRP tips did improve it significantly.

I honestly don't know that I would put them on a car without the OEM GFX.

It might fit somebody's particular look, but I don't know what it would look like in person to be truthful. Probably something that I wouldn't do.

Good questions - Thank you!

Wish I didn't pay extra for the tips I bought for my car a few months back. Now I want these. But like the question already asked, do these come in black of black chrome?

They are not offerred in Black nor Black Chrome.

Just the pictured Polished Chrome finish.

You'd have to have them locally painted/coated to achieve those finishes.

Thank you both for your inquiries!

Will they fit over the stock V6 tips/GXF package?

They are made to fit over a 3" pipe. Ultimately, you would have to cut your tips that you currently have and install them with a neck down adapter. These are commonly found at any exhaust shop.

These tips have 3/4" gap all the way around which all but eliminate any chance of rattling.

These are bolt on or weld on.

I plan on getting these at some point, but would really love to see these in a smoke chrome, or some type of black. Maybe I could have them powercoated in black.

I too think that the Black Chrome option would be sweet...I've voiced that concern to MBRP months back.

Powdercoating these would be a walk in the park.

If there are people wanting them powdercoated I could employ one of the local Powdercoating guys to possibly do it, but I don't know what it would cost.

I just don't know if the heat from the exhaust would cause problems.....

But you can't go wrong with the way they are now!! Stunning!

Will they fit the off road exhaust if the tips are cut off the off road. Has anyone tried this? Aren't the off road tips 4" and these are 3". Would there be a reducer involved?

Tony,

Which off road tips do you have?? Most exhausts are either 2.5" or 3". You can shoot me a pic if you'd like to my cell or email if you want and I can see what you're meaning if this would help.

If you have 3", then it's a bolt on affair. Or weld if you want some added security.

2.5" would need a neck down which still isn't too difficult at all.

Here to help if you need it.

Thank you Mississippi and Florida!!

Gonna be a handful of hotter looking Camaros down that way...

Remember, these are a BOLT on affair for you 3" guys and a simple neck-down/reducer deal for the 2.5" gang.

Welding them on is an option to the 3" while definite to the 2.5"....

Completely worth it and they are just gorgeous in person.

IN STOCK and ready to ship!

Your killin me Ivan. I asked for a PM on the price but you may have missed it. I payed around $160 including shipping...this on the other hand is a good deal! I had them installed by a muffler shop for $85. No vibration and the sound is better since the exhaust is exiting out the back and not hitting the chrome GFX piece. I'm power coating the chrome later. Great if you have the OEM GFX.

OH Complete Bummer!!! Im sorry that I never saw your request for a price PM. We woulda saved ya half your install money. Darn!!

Agreed, they changed the exhaust note for the better in the GFX car we have. A more pronounced, smooth sound.

Did you have a 2.5 or 3" System??

I'm sure the masses would LOVE to see yours posted up......

Let me know if we can save you money in the future sir!

Great tips but the only downfall is they are for a 3" exhaust. . . keep that in mind.. I had to get a spacer made for my 2.5" magnaflow exhaust.
