I bought 10 qts and 2 mobil 1 filters at on O'Relly's and 10 at another one. So I have two changes and 4 toward another one.

Castrol Edge is doing better in test reports. I am switching to it from Mobil 1 and it meets GM new oil specs and Mobil 1 does not at the moment.

Where is the oil filter on a L99? I can not find it. I guess I will wait until the oil drains to check closer.
The oil looks like crap for only 400+ miles.

I found the filter. Boy that filter is small. The mobil 1 filter is a little larger or it seems to be. My filter tool which I had to go buy fits my mobil 1 filter but not the stock one. I had to use a pair of plyers.

I am going to do the rear end later tonight or tomorrow.
