408 race engine for sale

I have a brand new 408 race engine for sale:

Iron 6 litre truck block
Lunati crank and rods
wiseco pistons, 14.5 to 1 compression
ET ls7 4 inch bore heads
PAC solid roller valve springs (good to 800 lift)
Custom crower 1.8 ratio rockers
crower solid roller lifters
cam motion 261/267 740/730 lift camshaft
double roller adjustable timing chain
katech ported oil pump
cometic head gaskets
ARP 2000 studs thru the entire motor
ported GM ls7 single plane intake

LAB machine out on long island built the motor, I have all the spec's on everything, bearing clearances, ring gaps, etc. This was built to run n/a, I'm changing directions with my build, so rather then redoing everything, I'd rather just start from scratch.

10500 delivered and it's yours. This is a BRAND NEW ENGINE, block was a seasoned truck block, other then that all parts are brand new, never run/fired, never installed in a car. I can get pic's if someone needs them. It's in an engine bag on my stand, I will deliver within a reasonable distance from central CT, or I will ship the motor, depending on distance.

CASH is preferrable, I will do the paypal, as long as you cover the 3% paypal fee, postal money order or bank check is also acceptable.

This is a good solid piece that will run a bottom 9 on nuts in anything that's built to race. This is not a street motor, this is a solid roller BIG cam BIG compression n/a race motor.

The engine needs an oil pan, I don't currently have one, but I will buy whatever the buyer wants and install it.

The engine also does not have a balancer on it, as I was planning on running a vacuum pump, and no ALT, and a remote water pump.

I also have an alum valley plate (flat alum piece) which I was going to use to install a baffeled fitting for the vacuum pump, I will include this with the motor.

Please feel free to check my trader feedback on ls1tech (same screen name), I've been a moderator there for a couple years, and I don't sell anything that's not 100%.

PM me with questions, or call if you'd like (860) 770 0669

I have had some interest in the top end of the motor, if I seperate, the bottom end will include the oil pump and head studs.

Top end complete with valve train and camshaft= 7500
Shortblock with head studs, oil pump, cam sensor and all engine covers 4000

The bottom end, with a 72cc head and a .045 head gasket will product 11.8 to 1 compression, which would be perfect for a street car, if that helps.

Both prices, shipped to your address.

Merry chiristmas, and back up top. A set of .120 thick cometic gaskets, will make this a 11.87 to 1 compression motor, and I will change them if that's what the buyer wants...

Then you'll have a 9 second solid roller n/a pump gas engine.....

Back up top, I've had some interested buyers, but noone's coming up with the cash yet. Spring time is almost here... if ya don't have your engine together, or it's not almost done chances are you'll be waiting for the fall for any good air......
