Does the Camaro have stealth mode?

the G8 has stealth mode where only the speedo and matrix display are lit at night. The old Grand prix had a stealth mode where only the HUD would be active at night.

Does the Camaro have such a mode, with reduced interior lighting at night? i would've thought with the HUD, it would be a good candidate.

a forum and google search don;t show an answer.

thanks.

Nope, you can only dim the lights to a certain point... the door lights will turn off, but the dash will not.

just shut your lights off and floor it and you will be in stealth mode.

Just curious, what do you want to use a "stealth mode" for? Sounds kinda cool....

p.s. Only other car I have seen with a good stealth mode is the Batmobile lol

I had stealth mode in my Grand Prix but never found a use for it.

stealth mode, from my experience with the M5, is that it turns off the dash lighting when you have HUD on. That way you don't have 2 sets of speedos and tachs staring at you. It also makes it really cool because the whole cabin is black.

its a little easier on the eyes sometimes to just have the speedo on. thats why i like it on the G8. the camaro lighting is pretty vibrant and dynamic, which is good, but it would just be nice to have the option to shut it all down and have the HUD only on occasion. and if the passenger is sleeping, it gives them a little darker environment.

seems to me that any car with the HUD should have it. how many lines of code would it really add? i thought for sure ti would have it and i just couldnt figure out how it was done! oh well!
