Camaro Invoice/Price Question

Maybe someone here can give me some extra info on this. I was looking at a 2011 2LT/RS on a dealer website in my area. The link to the window sticker showed "Invalid-may have been sold," so I emailed the dealer about it. Turns out that the car is in transit and not in stock yet. The new car manager sent me a copy of the invoice, so that I could see exactly what options it had (It does have a sunroof). Below is what the invoice shows at the bottom. Exactly what is the "Company Used Vehicle Discount" of $666? The invoice price for all the options is also lower than the normal invoice price of each option. (I have an invoice for another 2LT/RS for comparison.) The total invoice price for this car is quite a bit lower than what is normal. This dealer is selling 2011 Camaros at $250 above invoice. I have emailed the dealer for answers, but I haven't heard from them yet. Is this a GM company used car? Would this be an extra good deal? Thanks for any info/opinions...

I saw one of those once and was told that means the car was used by Gm for something. In my case the car had gone to a handfull of auto shows and the a dealer bought it for that reduced price.

Word of caution you are buying a used car. So you won't get any if the new car incentives. That's why it doesn't show the window sticker on the Gm online sites.

If you look at the spread between list and invoice you'll see it's much larger than normal. You may have to check if any incentives (GM Card) are compatible with it becuase it is technically a "used" car.

Sounds like a good deal.

Just heard from the dealer about this car. It was used at an auto show recently, and the dealer says that GM discounts the invoice for that use. But they won't sell it at $250 above the invoice price, because he says the $850 destination charge is not included on the invoice. Take a look for yourself... What do you think? I'm not Stevie Wonder...

Well Stevie, looks like it's included!! These types of cars are a great deal if it's the right car for you. Incentives don't usually apply, but with a Camaro
it's no issue because there so few incentives available.
Good luck with your negotiations.

Thanks Becky... I'm not a dealer or salesman, but it's not hard to see that it is included. I have emailed the dealer back with what I'm seeing, so we'll see what they say.

Second that for Becky. She can probably beat that used car discount price on a new car. You can check out the dealer camaros for sale section ro see the long list of satisfied out of state buyers.

You wouldn't be able to use any Gm card or loyalty bonus offers on the used. That's what took that car out of the options for me. If you have incentive cash you pay less fir the new car than the discounted used car
