I just got back from my dealer and he said the IBM and ABM will be made last, somewhere around the time the Summit White is made. This is the first I'm hearing of this. Is this true, or was he mistaking?

I don't recall any mention of the blues have later availability as with the white. It is my understanding that any color can be painted on a car at any point and the only reason for the delay with white was because they were waiting for the end of the production run of the current white.

i think Blur was correct in saying your dealer's an idiot. that's how many times he's given you bad or no info? summit white is the only color that is being delayed. fbodfather & 80Zedder (a plant worker, in the paint area, i think) have both said they can paint any of the 10 colors on any given car. they just can't run 2 shades of the same color at the same time (the current white & summit white). the impalas have IBM & now ABM (i just found that out right before i read this), so we're good to go with blues. have you not seen pics of the blue cars already out?

I just talked to my dealer yesterday and my 2SS / RS IBM with silver SS stripes is scheduled to be delivered by "early May". So, I don't see how "they will be last to be produced".

I think the dealer who said that if full of SH_T!

When does the white come out? If I were to order white now, when do you think I'd get it? I'm really liking white with black stripes or black with white.

You can't actually order white right now. My advice would be to order a different color now and instruct your dealer that you want white and to make sure your order doesn't get submitted until white is available. Chances are that if you ordered now, your car wouldn't be built until after white is available anyways so that shouldn't be a problem. June/July is the timefram I believe for it becoming available so sometime after that is when you'd get it. If you wait until then to order, you'd likely have several more months to wait as most dealers will likely have their allotments up through October used up come June.
