Ah that makes sense as you are not a sponsored vendor.
Cheers

[QUOTE=Dr. Jkel, the problems that you had with your wheels was that you received them with a missing cap and the wrong lug nuts. Your wheels were picked up at our place by one of the local mail order companies which then i believe had tires mounted on them before shipping to you. I dont know how Savini is at fault with the missing cap issue or wrong lug nuts....when the wheels left here they had all the caps on them and we dont supply lugs nuts it is the responsibility of the retail shop to supply them. Your wheels got shipped back to us also for vibration...when we checked the wheels and tires they were out of balance by about 2 ounces..we never took the tires off the wheels, BFX Auto picked them up the way they came to us and i believe had them rebalanced.
[/QUOTE]

I will speak specifically about the issues I had. In MY OPINION your vendors should ensure that things are correct, especially when buying high end product.

I do not expect the same service on a KIA that I do when I get a BMW serviced, AGREE?

So are you the KIA or the BMW?

Dr Jkel...the reason why i had the thread closed was because i myself do not go on the camaro5 forum all the time and i dont want to be represented by a (non response) which makes it seem like i dont care.

I do care very much about the consumer and can respond to any questions or concerns via email before i check the forums.

as far as your comments about our venders, i agree with you..we will definitely be more selective in the vendors that we use to sell and represent our product.

Nick, responded to my cap issue and is sending them out today. Again my minor issue was miscommunication or lack there of. The wheels on my car have no paint chip or "out of round" problems at all. They did send me caps quickly and at no-charge. They are a beautiful wheel and if you want them I would go to an authorized dealer.

Have a safe Holiday to everyone

I can tell you I have had various sets of powedercoated wheels and never had an issue with chipping or cracking, and they were on daily drivers.

You do have to be careful what chemicals you use on them though

I only use water-based Adams car wash products. I never use harsh chemicals of any kind on my wheels. Also, I use only high-quality Adam's microfiber towels. I treat my wheels exactly as I do my paint. I learned how to wash and polish a car from The Junkman. I do it the right way!

Terry, now that your wheels have a base powder coat and not liquid paint you should have no problems with chipping.

I've been around this market and forums for over 15 years now, I've seen similar scenarios play out exactly like this. I do at least try to warn vendors before things happen, but that doesn't mean they always listen to advice.

Seems the only way to NOT get screwed and actually get anything done these days is to bitch about it where thousands of people can read for themselves. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you see it), someone is going to lose a ton of business over this. Incredible....

And I just now read all 5 pages on this...dang, man....wow....

I can only say that I am very glad and fortunate I didn't choose to go with a set of wheels by Savini, I almost did, not only do you have to pay some high prices for your wheels they throw in some drama for free. Glad I passed.

The refund promised by Savini has been posted to my credit card.

I consider this matter resolved to my satisfaction.

Thank you, Tu and Savini.
