There's a '68 Charger around here with a white stripe like that. Looks great on that car but I'd have to see it on the Camaro to see if it looks right.

Reminds me of the Bumblebee stripe on 60s Camaros...just at the other end.

I wouldn't put a stripe like that on the trunk, like you posted a pic of a challenger, that stripe is usually a mopar thing just like the stripe above my post is a camaro thing.

I'd be interested to see a 'shop of it.

But I like the idea of an angular forward horizontal stripe like in the above picture better.

why do you want to "dodge" up a Camaro? If you have to wrap with a stripe, go to the '60's version around the nose.

Yeah, mixing Dodge and GM DNA will produce offspring so horribly disfigured they will have to be destroyed. I don't really beleive in putting a different brand's retro on a car, but if thats what you wanna do, more power to ya.

Creative, but I gotta say no. First the car is a Camaro, not a Challenger...and that stripe is pure Dodge heritage so I don't think it would work. Second, that Camaro has a pretty large rear end, even compared to the big challenger, so I think that stripe would just make it look bigger. Plus where the Challenger's rearend is flat, the Camaro's is contoured, so I'm not sure it would look good with the different lines. Wow, thats alot of talk about rearends there!

Eww. So you're pretty much looking into making your car a Camllenger? That's like putting SRT8 emblems on a Camaro. Or SS emblems on your Charger.

Not the factory, but on the opinions above - you could not put rally stripes on your car because "Chevy, dodge, Ford" had them on first.

Makes no sense.

it's about the style & placement of the original factory stripes more than the fact that they are stripes.

camaros & mustangs have both had factory rally stripes, but the fords are usually two solid stripes that go from the ground over the top to the ground

while camaros have had two outlined stripes only on the hood & rear deck

i agree that you shouldn't put dodge stripes on a camaro. you wouldn't do this, would you?

It would be like a gender confused Camaro
I mean you don't want your Camaro to have self-esteem issues early on in it's life do you?

Some things are tradition. Then again the OP is a dodge guy, so maybe putting a Dodge style thing on a Camaro will let him ease into owning a chevy. I say welcome aboard! (But not my style of stripe, that's for sure. )

If people poking holes in the hood with a screwdriver will make them want to buy a Camaro, I support it cause GM needs every sale it can get.
